Things
A considered personal planner that turns projects into a manageable day.
Version 3.24.1 · Requires macOS 13.3
Things is built for personal planning, without shared project assignment. The price shown is the checked US Mac App Store price, not a promise of permanent pricing.
Makers
Cultured Code is based in Stuttgart, Germany, with a team working across locations. Things is its dedicated personal task manager for Apple devices.
Why consider it
Give the day a clear shape
Today, This Evening and Upcoming separate what matters now from what belongs later. A start date can differ from a deadline.
Break projects down without clutter
Areas, projects, headings and checklists provide a few distinct levels. Enough structure for personal work without building a custom database.
Move quickly from the keyboard
Quick Entry captures a task from anywhere, while Type Travel and keyboard shortcuts help move through lists and reorganize work on the Mac.
